UK Tax Rates API: free JSON & CSV for 2026-27
Need UK tax rates in your app, spreadsheet or blog post? This is a free, open-data set of UK Income Tax bands, National Insurance, student loan thresholds, dividend tax rates, HMRC mileage rates, VAT rates and the VAT registration threshold, and tax deadlines as plain static JSON and CSV files. No sign-up, no API key, no rate limits, and CORS is open so you can call it straight from a browser. Every figure is checked on GOV.UK and is the same figure our own calculators use, generated from the same code.

=IMPORTDATA("https://tidysheets-uk.pages.dev/api/csv/v1/2026-27.csv")
The CSV has one row per figure: tax_year, topic, key, value, source_url. To pull a single value, e.g. the Personal Allowance: =VLOOKUP("personal_allowance", QUERY(IMPORTDATA("https://tidysheets-uk.pages.dev/api/csv/v1/2026-27.csv"), "select C, D"), 2, FALSE). Excel users can use Data > From Web with the same URL.
