Affiliate disclosure
Last updated 17 October 2026. Plain English, UK ASA style.
In short
- Some links earn us a commission. If you click a link marked “Ad” or “Affiliate” and later buy or sign up, Tidy Sheets may earn a fee from that company. It does not cost you extra.
- Free stays free. Our calculators, guides and the free trading-allowance checker stay free whether or not you use an affiliate link.
- Not tax or financial advice. Nothing on this site is personalised advice. Check GOV.UK or a qualified adviser for your situation.
How we mark links
Where we recommend a product or service we have an affiliate relationship with, we label it clearly as Ad or Affiliate next to the link or in the surrounding text, in line with the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and CAP Code.
Unlabelled links to GOV.UK, our own pages, or our Payhip shop are not affiliate links.
Independence
We choose tools and partners we think are useful for UK side hustles, freelancers and households. A commission never changes how a calculator works or what a guide says. We do not accept payment to alter figures or hide risks.
